In this episode Tenochtitlan is the dominant city-state ruling over their Triple Alliance partners. Under the leadership of Ahuitzotl and Moctezuma the Younger the empire would expand from the Pacific Coast to the Gulf of Mexico. Then, during the reign of Moctezuma the Younger, ships began to appear on the coast.
Tizoc – Seventh tlatoani of Tenochtitlan.
Ahuitzotl – Eight tlatoani of Tenochtitlan.
Moctezuma II – Ninth Tlatoani of Tenochtitlan.
