Bonus Ep. 13 – The Emperors: Cuitlahuac, Cuauhtemoc, Tlacotzin, Motelchiuh

In this episode we explore the last “Aztec” rulers who put up the final resistance, eventually living to witness the Fall of Tenochtitlan. As Moctezuma II is held captive in his final days, a new leader Cuitlahuac, ignited the fire that drove Cortes from the city. But a new enemy, smallpox, besieged the already stricken city.
